For Logroño's International Architecture and Design Festival-Concéntrico Competition
In this project, the city is reimagined as a theater. The installation invites all citizens and visitors to take part as "actors" in the "final performance" on Trevi-Jano School Square.
It offers a dramatic perspective, transforming ordinary street activities into a theatrical spectacle. Composed of four continuous walls and a 450mm-high platform, the installation divides the square diagonally, creating a "dual-faced theater."
The openings in the wooden walls align with sculptures, circular seating, and the trees in the square. The slanted walls disrupt the space’s orthogonal order, and as people are required to pass through curtains to move across the square, a simple everyday action is turned into an unexpected experience.

Members
ZHANG Jie / 张婕is a spatial designer and artist based in Shanghai. She trained as an architect at Huaqiao University and the University of Hong Kong from 2013 to 2020. Since relocating to Shanghai in 2020, she has focused on small-scale installations and spatial design, while continuously providing commercial interior design services for retail companies and government projects.
YANG Chen / 杨晨 is an architectural designer and illustrator based in Florence. He studied architecture at Huaqiao University (2013-2018) and Politecnico di Torino (2019-2021), and has worked at WNA Architects in Torino and ACE Srl. in Florence.
